Abstract :
This paper describes several approaches for using personal computer programs in the teaching of circuits and systems. The programs can be used to efficiently implement a wide range of important topics including numerical analysis in the time and frequency domains, symbolic analysis in the complex frequency domain, studies of sensitivity and effects of parameter variation. The various approaches are illustrated by specific examples of PC software programs. The programs are all available as shareware or as inexpensive student versions of commercial products
