Abstract :
A two-section inductively-coupled lumped-element quadrature hybrid operated at X-band is presented. A new set of synthesizing equations are also derived to obtain good magnitude imbalance and phase difference between the output ports. The simulated magnitude imbalance and phase difference are 1.4dB and 90°± 1.16° over the frequency band 8-12GHz, respectively. Results show good agreement with the theoretical predictions. The proposed hybrid can apply to broad-band applications.
