  • Abstract
    A novel CPW-ACPW (coplanar waveguide - asymmetric coplanar waveguide) phase compensated structure for CPW bend is proposed. It introduced a periodic structure composed of CPW, ACPW and CPW to ACPW tapered lines, which can suppress the odd mode excited by different phases in two slots of the bend. The proposed structure had a character of equi-impedance, which would be benefit for signal transmission, where the impedance of ACPW can be computed in the method of conformal mapping. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations demonstrate the validity of the structure in phase compensation, improvements in frequency response proved by EM simulations.
