Abstract
Pangandaran Village is one of the most vulnerable villages in southern part of West Java Province regarding earthquake and tsunami risk and the event in 2006 shows that their development were not good enough to deal with the risk. Hence, after the disaster a lot of activities conducted by various actors to rebuilt the area. Thus, it leads to a necessity for examining whether the developments really enhancing the village resilience or not, prior to future risk of earthquake and tsunami. This study examine the resiliency using US-IOTWSP that measure eight aspects of resilience within four core capacities practiced in the community. From the study it has being known that the most influenced aspect for Pangandaran resilience was warning and evacuation aspect and the lowest was disaster recovery aspect.
