Abstract
The doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs) are widely used in the wind generation. As wind power plants often contain some uncertain factors, such as grid voltage dip or swell fault, the model of the whole system should be rebuilt. Therefore, it is also difficult to guarantee the high efficiency using the conventional controllers. This paper proposes a predictive controller for the power control of DFIG under the unbalanced network conditions. The prediction is calculated based on the state-space model of DFIG. The simulation results show the proposed controller can suppress the power pulsations in some degree while ensuring the good track performance.
