  • Abstract
    In this paper, we provide a report of the first workshop on Emerging Technologies for Next-generation GRID, held at WETICE 2004. A brief summary of the published papers is first provided. Then we summarise the lessons learned from both the presentations made at the workshop and the sub-sequent discussions, which highlight many of today´s most challenging research areas for Grid computing.
