Abstract
This paper analyzes both dynamic and steady-state performances of induction generators connecting to a utility grid. The studied systems with single induction generator under different loading conditions are respectively examined. The rotor speed parameters of the studied system under steady-state conditions are explored. Dynamic characteristics of the studied induction generators under a severe torque disturbance and sudden disconnection from the utility grid are studied in detail.
