Abstract :
In this paper, we present our recent achievements associated with the antenna and modulation technologies for the 5-th generation wireless communication systems including the design of pattern polarization antennas, the development of hybrid beamforming technology, beamspace multi-input multi-output (MIMO) technology, as well as more recent radio frequency orbital angular momentum (RF-OAM). These technologies are believed to play an important role in making the 5-th generation wireless system having one thousand time faster speed than the fourth generation system come true in the near future.
