Abstract :
A technology to distinguish and estimate the multipath timedelays is proposed in this paper, which utilizes the UWB chirp signal and can be applied in the mobile location system. The method converses the signal from time domain to frequency domain, then avoids the sidelobe of sinc function, which is generated from the traditional autocorrelation process of chirp signal. As a result of analysis, the algorithm has a fairly significant accuracy, which is more excellent than the traditional autocorrelation algorithm, and has a much simple implemental structure.
