Abstract
Proposed new method of extraction electron differential inverse inelastic mean free pass (DIIMFP) for solid materials from EELS experiments. Inverse problem is solved by fitting procedure using numerical solution of Ambartsumian equation for energy losses. DIIMFP for surface layer and bulk for Al and Nb samples are presented.
