Abstract
Current density of 0.3 to 0.5 A/cm2 and higher obtained when testing of thermally expanded graphite cathodes. Simulation of the magnetron injection type electron gun with blade-type cathodes for microwave device showed, that using of the cathodes lateral structure reduces the impact of ion bombardment on the surface areas of the emitting electrons. Patent for utility model received.
