Abstract
This paper describes a passive glass microwave integrated circuit providing passive limiting and active switching from 2-8 GHz. The 0.265"/spl times/0.100" chip employs discrete PIN diodes to achieve the following performance: loss 0.5 dB; VSWR 1.30:1; isolation 45 dB; power handling 50 W CW; and leakage 20 dBm.
