Abstract
Experimental results on the impact of electron beam to the powder composition of nitrocellulose and nitro-glycerin and mixtures of this composition with lead oxide and zirconium in varying proportions were presented. Taking into account this experimental data thermal sensitivity of the samples was estimated. The initiation of ignition energy-storage materials using a high-current electron beam was investigated. The decisive role of cathode flare, which is generated from the cathode after the electron beam, in ignition was shown.
