Abstract
Technological and design features of manufacturing plasma spraying metal-porous cathodes with multilayer structure of wolfram matrix are presented. On example of comparative experiments of these cathodes in high-power multi-beam klystrons the possibility of durability increase of devices was shown. In order to determine the maximum current density and predict emission durability the experiments of cathodes in the forced temperature conditions were conducted.
