Abstract
In order to resolve problems of discrete models about high-speed permanent magnet synchronous generator (HSPMSG) and PWM rectifier, the unified mathematical model is raised. Based on the new model this paper investigates characteristics of HSPMSG with PWM rectifier, and a novel vector control method with sliding mode observer is presented to achieve no-voltage sensor unit power factor control. Moreover, the load feed-forward control method observably enhances controller performance to resist system speed fluctuations caused by load disturbance.
