  • Abstract
    A new traceability chain for the derivation of the farad from dc quantum Hall effect is under characterization at INRIM. Main steps are performed by new ratio and quadrature coaxial ac bridges. The bridges are based on a polyphase digital synthesizer and do not employ variable dividers or impedances to achieve equilibrium. Preliminary measurements show an agreement, between the new farad determination and the maintained unit, better than 2 times 10-7.
