Abstract
Nanosecond pulsed electric fields has been reported as a novel technique to induce membrane permeabilization, cell apoptosis and eliminate tumors. The mechanisms underlying the biological effects are being widely studied, including the formation of pores in membrane and responses of mitochondria.
