Abstract
In this paper we present an un-intrusive OMS (optically modulated scatterer) technique to measure the radiation pattern of an un-wired small antenna such as an RFID tag. The radiation performance of an RFID antenna is measured without any metallic feeding wire that could disturb the field pattern. The degradation of the field pattern caused by a slab attached to the RFID antenna is also evaluated with this technique.
