Abstract :
The intention of this paper is to study the impact of the spatial correlation between transmit antennas on the performance of multiuser system in the downlink. Exact expressions for the average channel capacity of the multiuser diversity systems combined with transmit diversity are derived, and based on this, average capacity is analyzed. The simulation results are consistent with the analysis results, which show that the spatial correlation between transmit antennas improves the average capacity of the multiuser diversity system
