Abstract :
We present a quantitative comparison between surface acoustic wave devices produced at PTB and Cambridge University. From the temperature dependence of the acoustic current, information on a number of device parameters such as the electron temperature and self-heating can be deduced. The results of this study will be discussed with respect to the limitations they place on the accuracy of the quantized acoustic current (QAC).
