  • Abstract
    The paper presents a design of a four-module electro-physical facility “Gamma-4” (2 MV, 3 MA, 320 kJ, 60 ns) developed to make researches in the sphere of radiation physics. For the facility there is created and experimentally elaborated a standard module including the systems of high-voltage pulses shaping and pulse transmission to a load node. During 700 shots its parameters and operational reliability were proved. With matched load the module generates electric pulse with the amplitudes of voltage and current up to 2 MV, 750kA and half-height duration equal to 60 ns. There are developed layout diagrams of the facility in the modes of synchronous (accuracy ±3 ns) operation of module with vacuum electron diodes and with current summator to generate soft X-ray pulses.
