  • Abstract
    Human beings are prone to error in herb species recognition. Thereby in case of preparation of herbal products by using these herbs as key components, there should be an utmost concern in correctly recognising the species of herb. This paper shows image processing techniques for extraction of shape, vein and texture feature values for two species of herb leaves using Beagle board XM and these different feature values extracted can be used as inputs for further classification stage.
