Abstract
Transmission system is the core part of a train. It plays a key role in train´s safe and reliable running to real-time monitor its key parameters.[1][2] The real-time monitor software of traction and drive system´s key parameters based on VC++ and Intouch software is designed and completed according to the requirements of the parameters. After briefly introducing the basic working principle of DDE protocol, I analyze the hardware design structure of the real-time monitoring system and put forward the design methods of monitoring software, realizing the back-end data acquisition function and front-end data display function which both developed in both VC++ and Intouch environment as well as the data exchange and coordination function between the two platforms that completed via DDE protocol. The software has been put into use to monitor the running conditions of transmission system of rails for a long time since its completion, thereby offers scientific technical offers to locomotive manufacturers. That is, the system has reached desired effects and high using value.
