Abstract :
This paper discusses the regulation and standard that European Commission has developed and imposed to the electronics industry for the environmental protection. The recent WEE and RoHS are introduced here and its implication to the electronics products and how the market is reacted is discussed. The action undertaken by the industry as well as the facilities, management is needed to cope with the changes. This paper is to discuss the details.
