Abstract
The design, implementation, and sustaining engineering of the Boeing Company´s Puget Sound WAN/MAN (wide-area network/metropolitan-area network) are discussed. Network end systems are limited to a series of standard configurations under strict change board control. Active network management is done using Vitalink´s 802 WAN manager and Proteon´s SNMP overview products
