  • Abstract
This paper presents the design and simulation of two different array antenna structures (4×1 and 4×2) for 35 GHz, Ka-band applications. The antenna element used is Microstrip patch fed by inset feed line. A corporate feed network is used for uniform excitation. The quarter wavelength transformers are used for impedance matching. Simulations predict a gain, return loss of 13.07 dB and 12.4 dB, -19.21 dB and -40.01 dB for the 4 × 1 and 4 × 2 array structures respectively. The arrays are designed and simulated using ADS software tool.
