Abstract :
A device used to verify climb/descent rate (ROCD) of radio altimeter is introduced. The components and structure of the device are described in detail. And its working principle is also present. The measurement accuracy and error are analyzed. With actual data gotten from the verification of a certain type of radio altimeter, the important role of this device in the development of auto-landing system for a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is discussed.
