Abstract
We present a simple, low cost but fast 3D data acquisition method. We employ a projector to project shifting color De Bruijn strips on the object, and a digital camera to record videos of the scene. The strips pattern divides the image to several spaces and the distortion of the strips on the object is used to get the object´s 3D information. A novel space-time edge finding method is introduced to get the color strips edge accurately by fully use De Bruijn pattern´s space information and the time information. This edge finding method overcomes the affect of inter-reflection and noise. This method is fast no matter the complexity of the shape.
