Abstract :
This electronic document is a “live” template and already defines the components of your paper [title, text, heads, etc.] in its style sheet. An electromagnetic launch system based on brushless permanent magnet linear motor is proposed. The permanent magnet linear motor is in the form of bilateral and moving magnet structure, which can reduce the normal force and avoids dragging line of power supply. By means of Fourier analysis, the pole width is optimized and the cogging force is inhibited. Solid iron core and mechanical damping device are used in the braking phase. The mover can brake quickly by means of eddy current braking and mechanical damping. The experimental results show that the overall system has compact structure and large thrust and is suitable for applications such as UAV catapult.
