Abstract
The determination of critical buckling load of laminated composite plate is an important factor in determining the structural stability. This paper is concerned with the postbuckling behavior of a laminated composite plate uniaxially loaded in longitudinal direction for three different materials. The finite element software ABAQUS has been employed to analyze the laminated composite plates. Effects of different parameters such as fiber orientation angles, number of layers were examined. Results are presented in the form of plots showing the variation in non-dimensional buckling load with central deflection.
