In Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), two major challenges are how to conserve the battery power of a sensor and to impose a series of security challenges. The intend of this paper is to investigate the power conservation techniques and security related issues and challenges. We also discuss the holistic view for ensuring and robust security in Wireless Sensor Networks.
