Abstract :
In this paper space vector pulse width modulation implementation using dSPACE 1104 to control the operation of a generalized impedance controller (GIC) has been explained with the hardware results. The GIC is used for regulating terminal voltage and frequency of a self excited induction generator (SEIG). It consists of an inverter having DC link battery with AC side coupling inductance. A space vector control algorithm has been developed; by writing a code in MATLAB programming environment and it has been implemented in dSPACE 1104 kit. This paper shows the implementation of SVPWM algorithm in dSPACE 1104 to investigate the open loop performance of the GIC-SEIG system and the results are presented.
