Abstract
There are a lot of studies on coauthorship networks, including the collaborative patterns, authors´ centrality, the structure of coauthorship networks, and the evolution of certain domain based on coauthorship networks. All of those studies have not analyzed authors´ patterns of different subjects. Obviously, authors´ patterns of different subjects are important when evaluating authors. They can reflect the degree of optimality of authors´ programming and allotment of subjects. In the present study, we will apply ourselves to this topic. We will analyze authors´ number of subjects, heterogeneity of subjects, and distribution of subjects and compare them with other two centrality measures. We choose the ACM SIGKDD data as our testing data set. Based on the results, we classify scholars by the above indices.
