Abstract
This paper describes the possibilities of a liquid fuel battery system that can have an energy density/life more than or comparable to conventional battery for electronic communication application. Micro liquid fuel engine driven micro generator is described and discussed in the paper. An analysis on state-of-art technologies is provided and a way to improve energy and power density of the micro-generator is identified and explained. The generator parameters and the factors to be considered for efficient power generation are investigated and the limiting conditions highlighted. Requirements of the system to perform similar to a dry battery and supply a variable load are defined.
