  • Abstract
    In this paper, MULTI CARRIER-DIRECT SEQUENCE Code-division multiple-access (MC-DS-CDMA) system has been considered to candidate to support multimedia services in mobile communication. It provides higher capacity over conventional access schemes Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA), Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and Multi -Carrier CDMA (MC-CDMA). Recently, a new CDMA system based on a combination of DS-CDMA scheme and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signaling, which is called “multi- carrier direct sequence CDMA (MC-DS-CDMA) system,” and combined with the viterbi decoder has been reported. The transmitter/receiver bit error rate of transmitted signal spectrum is compared effectively with those of a conventional direct-sequence (DS) CDMA system, MC-CDMA and MC-DS CDMA design method.
