  • Abstract
A novel linear state-space model predictive controller for SI engine air fuel ratio control is presented and demonstrated over a range of engine operation. The linear model-based controller is an analytical controller that does not require online optimization. Time-varying delay compensation is adapted based on the measured engine speed. A Kalman filter is used to estimate the model and unmeasured disturbance states
