Abstract :
Certain classes of nonlinear mechanical systems with switched force fields are studied. By the use of the Lyapunov direct method, sufficient conditions of asymptotic stability of equilibrium positions for considered systems are obtained. The results of a computer simulation in MATLAB are presented to illustrate the proposed approaches.
