Abstract
DECT (Digital European Cordless Telecommunications) is the new standard for cordless telecommunications in Europe. Dependent on traffic density and propagation conditions DECT systems are interference or dispersion limited. The authors present the performance of a Siemens Gigaset 95x DECT cordless telephone prototype under slightly dispersive radio channel conditions, different movement speeds and application of diversity. The results show a better performance than expected from most of predictions
