Abstract :
A method of constructing a new frequency hopping sequences is given. These new sequences have one and only one frequency coincidence (hit) for every possible time shift between two arbitrary frequency hopping sequences. These hopping sequences are optimal in the sense of minimizing the number of pairwise hits between two arbitrary sequences. The implementation of the frequency hopping sequences using shift registers is described. It is proved that the hopping sequences proposed have one hit between two sequences and the hit distribution of the frequency hopping pattern is investigated
