Abstract :
We provide a thorough theoretical investigation of switching elements made of dielectric-loaded surface plasmon polariton waveguides that can meet the practical requirements of board-to-board multi-wavelength optical interconnects. For this purpose, advanced numerical techniques including the finite element method (FEM) and the beam propagation method (BPM) have been employed.
