Abstract
This paper studies variable polarization techniques of radar system. Based on the concept of polarization vector and polarization sphere, Jones variable polarizer is introduced and related to Jones polarization vector. With this polarizer, a full polarizer, which is variable in the full domain of polarization sphere, is analyzed. Dynamic performance of variable polarization is observed by static magnetic simulation and RF simulation technology, and variable polarization coefficient and phase are calculated through wave-coupled and 3D simulation
