A Study of Ebook Confidence Level in Perspective Aspect

In Fall 2007, as soon as BNC Mortgage, the branch company of Lehman brothers had suffered the ¿ Subprime Mortgage " and filed bankrupt, and in September 2008, when Lehman brothers filed bankrupt, Merrill Lynch securities and AIG insurance sought help from Fed, Wall Street was faced a heavy pressure immediately: financial tsunami, since then the whole economic market is all linked with one another, certainly American Press is fallen down inevitably. In fact, more than 24 famous publications, such as: New York Times, Time, Fortune, etc, which would determine to reform the structure and lay-off extra staff, and Christian Science Monitor announced that it would replace early printing edition to electronic edition as early as April of 2009, and hope to defect currently recession soon. Meanwhile, the Amazon Company has been announced a new Kindle DX (eBook) to compete with web newspaper since a couple years ago. In Aug. 2009, Sony has been developed a new eBook (PRS-500), and more electronic tycoons would follow especially in Taiwan. Can such new electronic devices possible save American or Taiwan media, and publishers alive? and create multi-billion dollars business in the year of 2013? In our research, we collect more than 300 cases from the telephone survey during May, 2009 and Oct., 2009. The profiles of contingency table were used to explore the relationship between eBooks\´ confidence level and different peoples, and proportional odds model were used to confirm the relationship of each other. The result is an effective method that may help to improve management qualities and push media management forward.
