Abstract :
A network measurement and feedback scheme (MFS) for call admission control channel and resources predictive control in cellular networks is presented in the paper. MFS enhances the wireless resource utilization rate in cellular networks. Compared with normalized resource reservation schemes, MFS reduces the call dropping probability (CDP) and call blocking probability (CBP). Moreover, considering the wireless channel utilization, MFS outperforms the other schemes. An analytical model has been developed. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
