  • Abstract
    We present a method of accelerating the execution process of read/write requests for the implementation of the iSCSI virtualization switch used in the SANs. Improving the read/write speed of iSCSI network protocol is important in its storage systems. Hereby, we propose a method for accelerating read/write requests by introducing an iSCSI virtualization switch which is facilitated by a transfer-sycro-control model. Such design can feature the efficiency of storage virtualization management; hence to increase the iSCSI storage performance significantly. From the result of our experiment, the transfer-sycro-controlling system can achieve a higher performance on the throughput of the iSCSI network storage system by 50%~60% and reduce the mean response time of the read/write tasks by 40%~50% compared to the conventional virtualization switch.
