  • Abstract
    This paper took a 1Kw 3-phase 12/8 topology SRM with segmental rotors and fully-picthed windings for the researchful object. The motor was modeled by 3-D finite element method. End effects for magnetic field of the motor were analyzed, and phase inductances of motor windings for the SRM were calculated. Finally, we will present the results given by 2-D FEM calculations without the head winding effects, and compare them to the experimental ones. The results show that, by using 3D finite element method, the calculation accuracy of the phase inductance winding for SRM with segmental rotor and fullly-pitched winding is high due to the consideration of end effect and magnetic flux leakage of other parts.
