  • Abstract
    The author´s main theme is that an adaptive wavelet transform developed recently is a mathematical embodiment of the the smart ears/eyes as a localized multiple resolution parallel input to artificial neural networks (ANN). Furthermore, ANN can adaptively tune the wavelet kernel called a super-mother wavelet to do the classification job well. The wavelet principles and applications are reviewed
