Abstract
This paper analyzes the interdependence between the Iub link characteristics and the HSDPA air interface performance using analytical and simulation techniques. The impact of the Node-B scheduling mechanisms are also investigated in this paper. A Markov chain based analytical model and a simulation model is used to obtain HSDPA air interface performance results.
