Abstract :
This paper address the problem of navigation within virtual environments (VE). We review the actual means used for navigation, after what we propose a navigation control algorithm based on operator head behavior. In this paper we focus on its benefits to robotic applications. Investigating the operator in robotics task performing, we cite off-line robot teaching, pseudo-real-time teleoperation and a simulation of an assembling task using two cooperative robot arms. The advantages and lacks of this control are discussed
