Abstract :
Low-loss and low-nonlinearity fibers result in OSNR enhancement, which is craved in realization of beyond 100Gb/s signal systems. State-of-the-art advanced fibers are also demonstrated, and prospects of fibers for future ultra-high capacity systems are discussed.
