Abstract :
In this paper we have demonstrated that the bias-reduction technique can further enhance the practical operation of algorithmic spectral tuning by minimizing the number of required measurements for an accurate tuning filter approximation. The use of bias-reduction can improve the data acquisition and processing, leading to fast algorithmic MS sensing. Furthermore, this enhanced algorithmic spectral tuning has successfully demonstrated two potential MS sensing modalities: spectrum adder and spectrum subtractor.
